Japanese company, I-O Data has announced an external hard drive, HDJ-HSU, equipped with a built-in data encryption.
I-O Data HDJ-HSU external HDD is protects information from unauthorized access with 256-bit AES key.
New I-O Data HDJ-HSU portable hard drive has dimensions of 46x223x155 mm and weight is about 1.6kg with an active cooling system. It is connects to a computer via USB 2.0 connectivity.
I-O Data HDJ-HSU is provides three-year warranty. I-O Data HDJ-HSU external HDD goes on sale in Japan later this month in versions of 500GB ($139), 1TB ($187), 1.5TB ($246) and 2TB ($496).
