I-O Data has recently launched in Japan at the GV-SC310, an accessory that connects the computer and allows you to receive television signals. This IO-Data accessory allows get 1seg TV broadcasts via USB connection and whether live or recorded programs to the iPhone and iPod touch, or Sony’s PSP.

Users just need to install the SEG Clip companion devices in either their iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS or iPod touch second generation and connecting the accessory to a PC.

This SEG Clip USB 1Seg TV Tuner will be sold in Japan starting in August for the equivalent $66. Another similar product is Softbank’s official 1Seg TV tuner for the iPhone, also PC compatibility and limits it to live broadcasts. This accessory will cost $102.
