I-O Data today announced its solid state drive (SSD) lineup, dubbed the I-O Data SSDN-SV. This new 2.5-inch drive will go on sale in early August 2011 and suitable for use in desktop and laptops.

I-O Data SSDN-SV Series solid state drives are used SATA 3.0 Gbps interface and delivers up to 206 MB/s read and 143 MB/s write. It is comes in two models – 64GB (SSDN-SV64) and 128GB (SSDN-SV128) of storage capacity.

The I-O Data SSDN-SV is supports TRIM and compatible with Windows and Mac OS X.

Dimensions of SSDN-SV are 70 x 100 x 9.5 mm and weight about 80 grams. Newly I-O Data SSDN-SV will sell for price of $158 and $306, respectively.
