I-O Data has released its external HDD that support the new superspeed USB 3.0 connectivity. It is called HDJ-UT (Hard Disk type J – USB Three point zero).

I-O Data USB 3.0 external HDD is comes in 1TB and 1.5TB capacities. It will transfer speed up to 5Gbps (USB 3.0) or 480Mbps (USB2.0).

Approx dimensions of I-O Data USB 3.0 external HDD are 46x223x155 mm (WxDxH) and weight approx 1.6kg. Its external HDD is possible to vertical or horizontal stand.

The prices of 1TB (HDJ-UT1.0) and 1.5TB (HDJ-UT1.5) USB 3.0 external HDD have price of 21,000 Yen (around $231) and 25,300 Yen (about $279), respectively.
