iBuyPower Chimera Killer Special Edition, powerful desktop PC
iBuyPower, a manufacturer of powerful personal computers, introduced Chimera Killer Special Edition desktop PC, aimed at enthusiasts and fans of games.
iBuyPower has announced a desktop PCs and available in two basic designs; based on the AMD AM3 and Intel X58 processor. The first version is equipped with ASUS motherboard based on a set of system logic 790GX and quad-processor Phenom II X4 Black Edition, running at clock frequency of 3.2 GHz. The amount of RAM is equal to 8GB and capacity hard drive is 750GB. It also has uses two ATI Radeon HD 4770 working in CrossFire graphics accelerator.
The second version of the desktop based Intel motherboard is the X58 chipset and Core i7 920 processor with four cores and the frequency of 2.66 GHz. The amount is equal to 6GB of RAM and hard drive holds 750GB. The desktop PC is equipped with two nVidia GeForce GTX 275 GPU.
The peculiarity of the new desktop is the availability of a specialized network card, Killer Xeno Pro Gaming Network Card. This adapter provides the minimum delay in the transmission of data that is critical for a dynamic game playing. In addition, network interface card contains an embedded unit of work with the audio hardware to expedite the processing of voice instant messaging between users during online battles.
Sales of iBuyPower Chimera Killer Special Edition desktop PC has already begun, AMD version is proposed at a cost of $ 1,500 and based on Intel is cost of $1,900.
