Imation Corp. has announced their latest external hard drive, Pro WX series. According to manufacture, Imation Pro WX is the world’s first Wireless USB external hard drive.

Imation Pro WX Wireless External Hard Drive provides the bandwidth as a wired USB 2.0 interface, it is up to 480 Mbps. However, performance of Imation Pro WX Wireless USB Hard Drive is capable range up to ten meters, more than its range makes drops to 110 Mbps.

Imation Pro WX wireless external hard drive is built on 3.5-inch hard drive, and it has a capacity of 1.5TB. Imation Pro WX Wireless USB Hard Drive has data transfer rate of up to 15MB/s. It has compatibility with Windows and Mac OS X.

Dimensions of the Imation Pro WX Wireless USB Hard Drive are 180x45x138 mm. The package of Imation Pro WX 3.5-inch Wireless USB Hard Drive is includes software for backup and recovery, easy-to-use automatic backup. Cost of Imation Pro WX wireless external hard drive is $450.
