India buys 250,000 OLPC project

April 29th, 2009 | Filed under Laptop 0 Comments

The One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) project disappears for moments on the map and go months without being heard news about that. But now there is good news for children in India as the country bought 250,000 of these laptops.

Perhaps the success of the pilot program was completed in 2007 to convince the government that this is a good idea and in fact one company tried to develop a computer that cost $ 10, but that ended in nothing.
