Intel Atom Pine Trail Officially announced [Video]
Intel officially unveiled to the world, new mobile processors, Atom Pine Trail. Already at January 4th, before CES 2010, Intel will deliver next-generation Atom processor, called the Pine Trail to the market.
The new Atom Pine Trail platform will be represented by models: a 1.66GHz Atom N450 and 1.83GHz N470 chips are mainly designed for netbooks, while D410 single core and 1.66GHz D510 chips are suitable for all-in-one PCs, nettops, and other low power desktops. In addition, new Intel Atom Pine Trail platform is integrated memory and graphics controller. The Intel GMA 950 graphics is come with most Intel Atom N270 processors, while the Intel GMA 3150 graphics is come with an Atom N450 processor.
Intel Atom Pine Trail platform has been made in the 45 nm process technology. Intel claims, the new Pine Trail platform is consumes about 20% less energy and feature a lower thermal design. According to manufacture, their TPD is to be sequentially to 7W of N450, 12W for the D410, and 15W for the D510.
Intel can expect over 80 netbook use Atom Pine Trail from major computer manufacturers including Asus, Acer, Fujitsu, Dell, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, and Toshiba.
