Intel unveils Classmate PC 4G netbook
Intel has announced new rugged convertible Classmate PC 4th generation that designed for educational and government institutions, known as Intel CTL 2go Convertible Classmate PC NL2.
This Classmate PC durable Intel-powered netbook packs a 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels (easily change instantly from a clamshell to a tablet). It is reported that the computer is improved ruggedness with drop test from desk height, bump and scratch resistance surfaces and structures, water-resistant keyboard, touchpad and screen, and an optional anti-microbial keyboard. The Classmate PC will be bundled with eReading applications.
It is boasts an Intel Pine Trail platform, which includes a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor with integrated graphics and Intel NM10 Express chipset. This Classmate PC 4G netbook is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM, 160 GB hard drive, Ethernet LAN, two USB ports, VGA out for connection external display, 1.3-megapixel webcam, and 3-in-1 Card Reader.
This netbook has optional 3G, GPS, WiMAX, 16GB/32GB SSD. Its battery is provides up to 6 hours of use.
