Intel X25-X SSD upcoming in holiday season

Intel will soon release its product range to SSD drives, releasing a new X25-X series. These SSD represent a more accessible version of announced in July, Intel X25-M drives, which are based on 34nm chips with a multilayer structure of NAND memory.
The new Intel X25-X SSD has the speed read and write data at 170 MB/s and 35 MB/s respectively. Similar rates of Intel X25-M series are at 250 MB/s and 70 MB/s, respectively. Intel X25-X SSD will consume only 90 mW in active state, and idle power consumption to be 75 milliwatts.
Intel X25-X with a capacity of 40GB should appear on sale before the holiday season, but its cost is about $160.
