Iomega eGo USB hard-drives, rugged portable

Iomega is one of the most famous when we have talking about storage devices and this time, they have updated its eGo USB portable hard-drives that will be presented in four new colors and up to 500GB storage capacity.
All discs come in formats for 2.5 inch 5.400rpm. There have a width of 16mm, weighs 200g and presented Drop Guard technology to protect data that it can protect your information from dropping to 1 meter and half (note, this is an approximation, of course).
Besides the eGo BlackBelt model launched which will be launched in June and it eGo BlackBelt model has support drops up to 2 meters.
Iomega has included six month’s subscription to McAfee VirusScan Plus, QuikProtect scheduled backup software, EMC Retrospect Express or Express HD to back up software, and 2GB of online backup through MozyHome. All the eGo drives are compatible with Windows and Mac systems.
