Iomega Corporation has expanded its line of network storage, the new Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 Network Storage. This ideal NAS device is suitable for small business and home users with data management functionality and advanced media storing features.

The Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 has two two 3.5-inch Easy-Swap SATA-II hard drive bays, Gigabit Ethernet connector, and Bluetooth, which allows uploading files from mobile phones or other devices. Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 Network Storage is equipped with remote access and directs copying data from device to device supports Windows Active Directory technology and Time Machine, and it also has a built-in torrent client and click QuikTransfer, simplifying backup selected files.

Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 NAS is powered by a 1GHz processor with 256MB RAM and it is supports RAID 1 with automatic RAID rebuild and also JBOD mode. It is offers iSCSI block-level access.

Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 Network Storage comes with EMC Retrospect Express software, designed for data backup and is equipped with three-year warranty. It is available in versions with a capacity of 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB and costs $269.99, $369.99 and $699.99 respectively.
