iPhone 5S from Apple with fingerprint reader, M7 motion chip, 64-bit A7 CPU [video]
Besides the cheap iPhone 5C, Apple has also unveiled a next generation of its flagship smartphone, the iPhone 5S. Most interestingly, the handset will bring a new A7 CPU. Like desktop PC, the processor runs 64-bit architecture, which is twice faster time performance than previous A6 chip. New iPhone 5S will pack a dedicated M7 motion processor that enable continuously gathers data from the gyroscope, accelerometer and compass.
The iPhone 5S comes with improvement features than the previous model. It has 8MP rear camera with f2.2 aperture and 720p video recording at 120fps. The new camera on iPhone is 15 percent larger sensor, which has automatic image stabilization and 1.5-micron sized pixels. New innovation of iPhone 5S is integrated fingerprint sensor on home button. That’s dubbed the Touch ID. It features 500 ppi resolution at capacitive touch sensor.
Like the iPhone 5C cheap phone, the iPhone 5S would be available for pre-order this Friday, September 13. The company will start shipping the iPhone 5S on September 20. Speaking about price in the US, the iPhone 5S will hit with $199 price tag for 16GB unit, $299 for 32GB model, and $399 for 64GB of storage.
