Apparently, iPhone will soon finally get to China. According to the Reuters agency, referring to analyst Cynthia Meng, China Unicom operator and Apple is “almost certainly” having agreed on the sales of iPhone. The agreement signed by at least two years. China Unicom is the second largest telecommunications operator in China, it will be ready to release the iPhone, by 1 October. By this time they plan to deploy a nationwide network of its third generation.

It does not specify what model starts sold in China. But most likely, they are talking about the new iPhone 3G S, which has already started to sell in the United States and it will soon come to other regions. It should be noted that the China Unicom does not confirm that an agreement with Apple, claiming that “negotiations are still ongoing”.
