iRobot Corp. has officially introduced its floor washing robot called the iRobot Scooba 390. Coming with compact design, this robot is claimed to be better way to clean, which utilized four-stage cleaning process (to prep, wash, scrub, and squeegee). Another innovation, the iRobot Scooba 230 vacuum cleaner uses ‘just’ three-stage to cleaning floor (washes, scrubs and squeegees).
The iRobot Scooba 390 floor washing machine is capable to 98 per cent to remove common household bacteria. It is able to works in various floor types, including linoleum, tile, and sealed hardwood floors.
New Scooba 390 has the iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology to ensure the floors keep clean, and a wide cleaning head that suitable for large areas and kitchens.
For storage, there are two tanks that contain dirty and clean water. As intelligent capabilities, iRobot Scooba 390 automatic floor washing can cleaning on specific area as a virtual wall, and able to 450 square feet per cleaning, while Scooba 230 is only about 150 square feet.
Reportedly, the iRobot Scooba 390 floor washing robot is asking price of $499.99.
