Harman’s JBL has introduced the new design of their speakers that is more alien’s style, the Creature III. It has a 2.1-channel audio system, consisting of 1 compact subwoofer and 2 satellites. JBL Creature III speakers are one of the most famous scenes that are computer speaker line.
The subwoofer of JBL Creature III is built smaller than normal and that the less space. According to source, power output of JBL Creature III speakers is changed since its JBL Creature II, but it is not detail specification.
Price of the JBL Creature III speaker system is $130 and it is available in white and black color.

The BASS and TREBLE controls are BACKWARDS! Turning either knob to (+) DECREASES its effect, while turning either knob to (-) INCREASES its effect. Played around in the Apple Store for 10 minutes with this, and could not believe that this was not caught by quality control. Unbelievable (but true).
As for sound, I’d rate them a 4 (out of 5). Midrange is weak, but this can be corrected with the equalizer in iTunes. Bass had a slight buzz, too.
