JBL, well-known as sound equipments maker, just announced the world’s first noise-canceling earphones to use USB Type-C. It is called the JBL Reflect Aware C that in partnership with HTC, famous phone maker. An exciting point from this earphone is keep advantages of USB Type-C. It’s also offering active noise cancellation and adaptive noise control. All are a great features for audiophile.
Just reminder, this company at CES 2015 was unveiled a Reflect Aware earphones with active noise cancellation. But, this device draws power through Lightning Connector in Apple devices or Micro USB, rather than using a regular 3.5mm headphone jack. So, the new one seems another improvement technology for earphones.
JBL Reflect Aware C brings tangle-free reflective cable to improve user visibility at night. Coming in a sweat-proof, it provides three ergonomic ear-tips. There are an in-line microphone and remote with volume rocker.
For an enhanced audio experience, the JBL Reflect Aware C earphones uses 14.8mm dynamic drivers and frequency response of 10Hz – 22kHz. You can also customize the level of background noise so you may remain aware of their environment.
Another good news, the device offers a power pack, in case, you may be used independently from the HTC 10. The Reflect Aware C will be available in two different color options – Black and White. Unfortunately, both companies (JBL and HTC) haven’t revealed any information about availability and price at this moment.
