Jointech announced a new digital book reader that instead of using e-ink technology uses a 7-inch LCD touch screen. It has Windows CE 5.0 operating system, and supports Mobipocket Reader and eReader MSReader. Jointech JE100 also offers playing both audio and video, and support for edit the files in Microsoft Office.
Jointech JE100 has brings a 400MHz processor, 128MB flash memory and 64MB of RAM. Transflash card reader takes up to 4GB and two USB ports.
