JVC demonstrates super HD camera prototype and D-ILA 3 projector

JVC Japan has announced the new D-ILA 3 video front-projector. The main feature was the highest rate of settlement of image is 8192 x 4320 pixels, equivalent to more than 35 megapixels. D-ILA 3 video front-projector has a contrast ratio 5500:1, and the power of its light output reaches 10,000 lumens. It is equipped with a lamp output of 3000 watts, fiber optic and HDMI-interface, and its weight is about 168 kg.

In addition, JVC demonstrated a prototype camera, clearly designed for professional use. As stated, this device can record video in the resolution of 3840 x 2160 at a speed of 60 frames per second in RAW mode. This authorization, much more than the traditional standard FullHD, it was made possible through the use of large CMOS sensor of size 1.25 inches. The camera transmits video via fiber optic cable and it is equipped with a processor capable of coping with the 4K2K processing of content in solving.

We know that the prototype camera and JVC D-ILA 3 projector will be shown from 21 to 24 May at the NHK Broadcast Technology Institute in Japan. The value of these products has not yet been reported.
