Japanese mobile operator, au KDDI has announced its new Digital Photo Frame, namely KDDI Photo-U SP01. It is equipped with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels (WVGA).
A key feature of the new KDDI Photo-U SP01 is the presence of an integrated modem for CDMA2000 1x EV-DO network. The KDDI Photo-U SP01 Photo Frame can automatically display the photos, obtained by using its built-in e-mail client interface. The KDDI Photo-U SP01 is equipped with 1GB of memory and a SDHC memory card slot (up to 16GB).
It is supports graphic files in JPEG and GIF, and playback Flash movies (Adobe Flash Lite 3.1). KDDI Photo-U SP01 is manufactured by a Korean company, Pantech. Dimensions of KDDI Photo-U SP01 are 189x128x25.9 mm.
