Taiwanese company, Kingmax has officially announced the release of a new USB 3.0 external hard drive, the Kingmax KE-71. The new drive is consist a 2.5-inch HDD and utilized SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface that increasingly to 5Gbps (625MB/sec).

Kingmax KE-71 external HDD will be available in two versions – 500GB and 640GB of capacity. It has enclosure decorated with glossy design and scratch-resistant, as well as silicone gasket to prevent sliding, shock-resistant.

The Kingmax KE-71 ultra-speed portable HDD is bundled with PCClone Ex lite and SecureDrive EX2 software, as well as provides built-in 256 bit AES encryption technology.

Size of Kingmax KE-71 is 124 x 84 x 18 mm and weight 170 g. There is no word on pricing yet.
