Kodak EasyShare Z915: New Kodak from PMA 2009
Mar 3, 2009 Camera
While Kodak has not yet been heeded his arrival, the EasyShare Z915 yesterday looked at the traditional event prior to the PMA for the press. Equipped with a 10 megapixel sensor, a 10-stabilized zoom and manual controls increases, few things have transpired on this new addition to the Z series.
With most developments, including the EasyShare Z980, unveiled earlier this year at CES, the EasyShare Z915 is one of the few surprises that Kodak had been booked for this year’s PMA in Las Vegas.
The new EasyShare has camera with a 10 megapixel CCD. But more interesting than the resolution is undoubtedly the 10-stabilized optical zoom lens that incorporates the small increases Z915. Unfortunately, and although representatives of the firm failed to respond to this media coverage on the focal length of the camera, it appears that the angle does not act on their specifications.
Something similar happens with the RAW format, which unlike the Z980 is not available in the Z915. What is not needed, though, is a way to control fully manual exposure. Available in four colors (black, red, blue and gray), the Z915 uses SD and SDHC Card and is powered by two AA size batteries. According to company representatives, the EasyShare Z915 is available in the U.S. starting this spring at a price of around $ 200.
