Kodak Ektra camera smartphone up for pre-order in the UK

Kodak Ektra was official introduced back in October this year. Now, we had news that the device will go on sale starting from December 9th, 2016. This smartphone is already available for pre-order in the UK. Customers who interested the device can go directly Unlocked Mobiles – UK retailer to put pre-order right now. Kodak Ektra smartphone will price of £448.98 including taxes.

Ektra is Kodak’s second Android smartphone after the IM5. Keep in mind that Kodak IM5 was introduced back in January last year. The new Ektra is Kodak’s vintage camera smartphone that designed to appeal to mobile photographers. New device look like a camera as much as a phone, which has an enhanced photography features.


The new Kodak Ektra smartphone carries a 21MP rear camera combined by a 13MP front-facing camera. The latter is suitable for the obligatory selfies you’re sure to take. It is also bringing several camera-oriented features including an F2.0 maximum aperture, phase detect autofocus and optical image stabilization. Furthermore, the phone offers Google’s Snapseed editing software that integrated directly into the photo gallery app.

Phone’s aspect, Kodak Ektra packs a 5-inch display with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. But you can expand it up to 128GB with microSD card. It is running on Google’s Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. The handset is powered by 3000mAh battery with fast charging.
