Kohjinsha, today participating in the Japan’s consumer electronics and computer technology (Ceatec exhibition) 2009, demonstrates Spacebook laptop with dual 10.1-inch LCD screens.
In normal state, one screen hides behind the other and the user has access only to the main display. If necessary, the two screens can be pulled out so sit side by side that doubles surface area of screen.
Kohjinsha Dual Display PC is based on the AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor with a clock speed of 1.6GHz and up to 4GB of RAM. Kohjinsha Dual Display notebook has brings Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11n, 2.5-inch hard drive, graphics controller with support for DirectX 10 API and TV tuner. In Japan, as expected, the new product goes on sale before the end of the year for an estimated price of $800.
In addition, Kohjinsha shown at the Ceatec exhibition, PA series pocket computer. This device is based on an Intel Atom Z520 processor with a frequency of 1.33 GHz, equipped with 4.8-inch screen, 512 MB RAM, a 32GB solid state drive and a compact QWERTY keyboard. The cost is about $700.
