The Japanese company, Kohjinsha unveiled a new computer in MID (Mobile Internet Device) class with a symbol, PM1WX16SA. It is the younger brother of UMID mbook M1. This Kohjinsha MID PM series is equipped with the Intel Atom Z510 runs at a frequency 1.1GHz, 512MB RAM and integrated graphics (Intel US15W).
The Kohjinsha PM1WX16SA has dimensions 158×94.2×22 mm and weighing 345g. It has also 16GB SSD, memory card slot for microSD/SDHC, 1.3 megapixel webcam, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.0 EDR, miniUSB. Kohjinsha PM1WX16SA has brings a 4.8-inch touchscreen display with resolution 1024 x 600 pixels. It will work under Windows XP Home SP3.
Kohjinsha PM1WX16SA Mobile Internet Device will be available in Japan from October 2009. And the retail price is 75,000 Yen (about $826).
