Konami Metal Gear Solid Touch for iPhone and iPod Touch: Available Now
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed further details about Metal Gear Solid Touch, the first title of the saga Metal Gear specifically designed for iPhone and iPod Touch, and produced by series creator Hideo Kojima. The launch in Europe is planned for today March 19 for just as 4.99 €.
Kojima Productions develop exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch Systems, Metal Gear Solid Touch focuses on the final chapter of the legendary saga of Solid Snake: an intuitive shooter that uses all the possibilities of touch-screen device. It’s following the pattern envelope Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the players will play Old Snake in his struggle against the mercenaries from private military corporations (PMCS), Haven Troopers, Gekko, and the beautiful but terrifying Beauty and Beast Corps. In this exciting adventure, players will have the opportunity to accompany Snake from Shadow Moses to the Middle East, to other venues such as South America or Eastern Europe; resistance of all its enemies wherever they go with a wide range of short arms and long range.
With twenty levels of play and old acquaintances from previous Metal Gear Solid titles in the form of enemies, Metal Gear Solid Touch and welcome the debut of the franchise to iPhone and iPod Touch. A breakthrough special Metal Gear Solid Touch with the first 12 levels of the game is scheduled to launch on iPhone and iPod Touch from Apple next March 19 for just 4.99 €. Later, it will provide users with an 8 pack of additional game levels, which will be available free of charge to update the game on Apple App Store for players who already have the first part in the second quarter of 2009. The original edition will be available only with the screen text in English, while the subsequent update will offer a localized version in French, German, Italian and Spanish.
