Korea will have to 1Gbps connections by 2012

You just think about being able to enjoy a real connection of 50Mbps, which is not advertised and only then give you 40% of what was promised. With that speed most of us would be very happy, but in Korea the issue of telecommunications is in another league, we are third in the regional if we compare ourselves.
The Telecommunications Commission of Korea is working on new tariffs and regulations that may be offered 1Gbps Internet connections by 2012. Three years is not much, considering that the installation of new fiber and equipment in the nodes can take a year, I would be waiting with open arms to the installer of the cable.
Currently in Japan and Korea are 100Mbps connections, but there is always a challenge is met, we need more bandwidth to do more things at once. If years ago was to be connected to the Internet and download email, now is surely to be connected to the Internet, material can be downloaded in high definition (call it “material” just in case …) and playing a game on – line, all at once without having to shut down anything.
This offer would be improved with a better IPTV service, which does not understand that more can be improved, if you can get 20Mbps connections in high-definition content, but of course, the Koreans take it to the next level.
