Beyond kid-friendly Android smartphone, Techno Source together with KD Interactive have unveiled a new Android tablet for children. It is called the Kurio 7x 4G LTE, which also offers parental control capabilities and high-speed wireless connectivity. Meanwhile, the kids-friendly tablet running exclusively on the Verizon Wireless network that allowing kids to stay connected on-the-go with 4G LTE connectivity. So, their families keep online even Wi-Fi connection is unavailable.
Specs-wise, the Kurio 7x 4G Kids comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the tablet supports up to eight user profiles that useful when parents customize it for individual children. That’s include internet access (blocking specific websites, inappropriate terms, and safe list), security setting, applications, game’s progress and scores for each profile.
Alongside 4G LTE and WiFi connectivity, new Kurio 7x 4G LTE tablet provides Bluetooth. Coming in black color with red accents, this tablet has a blue protective bumper, which will minimize impact of bumps. Unfortunately, the company didn’t share many hardware information. Pricing and exact release date of the kid-friendly tablet is unknown at the time of this writing. We’ll update you once we have more information.
