LaCie Big Disk Network and d2 Network: unique NAS for energy efficient

LaCie has expanded its line of network storage by two new devices. The new NAS are called Big Disk Network and d2 Network. Both are able to interact with the function of Time Machine in Mac OS X, and broadcast multimedia content streaming. In addition, both network drive enclosed in the shell with the radiator design, effective dissemination of heat. This will make them very quiet and energy efficient.

Big Disk Network NAS has the size 44 x 173 x 272 mm, weighs 2.5 kg and it is equipped with two hard drives working in a RAID 0. The total capacity of the device is 2 TB and 3 TB. d2 Network NAS has smaller dimensions (44 x 160 x 173 mm) and it is available in versions with a capacity of 500 GB, 1 TB and 1.5 TB. This network drive is equipped with ports of Gigabit Ethernet, USB and eSATA. Big Disk Network and d2 Network come with a three-year warranty from the manufacturer and the cost from 190 to 500 dollars.
