LaCie has introduced their most compact portable external hard drive, Rikiki.
Rikiki in French language is “small” or “tiny”. Indeed, LaCie Rikiki Portable Hard Drive has dimensions of 110x75x13.4 mm and weight is 158g. According to statements made by manufacture, LaCie Rikiki Portable Hard Drive is the most compact external hard drive on the market, one based on the 2.5-inch hard drive in an aluminum exterior casing.
LaCie Rikiki Portable Hard Drive is offered in capacities of 250GB, 500GB, and 640GB. It is connecting to computer use USB 2.0 port, it is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows OS.
Its package is includes software for backup and restore files, as well as USB Boost software to accelerate the speed transfer up to 33% (Windows only) on the USB connectivity.
Cost of LaCie Rikiki Portable HDD is $75, $110 and $150 for version of 250GB, 500GB and 640GB respectively. LaCie Rikiki External HDD is available through the LaCie Online Store, LaCie Reseller+, and LaCie Corner.
