Lava has recently officially launched a new Tegra 3-based smartphone, the Xolo Play T1000 in India. This handset is actually the first phone from Lava to boast by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip. The processor delivers gaming-friendly capabilities, but other features are similar to the X1000 model.
The Xolo Play T1000 smartphone comes with one-glass solution (OGS) technology for its 4.7-inch IPS display. In additional, that’s features HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution, pixel density of 312 ppi and a capacitive touchscreen support. At its heart is performance a 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor paired with 416MHz 12 Core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU. The phone runs Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system and pre-installed with TegraZone that allowing users to download, explore and find the Tegra-optimized Android games.
Besides 2MP camera on the front, the T1000 phone has also an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, and 1080p video recording. Its memory term is 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage that expandable with microSD card (up to 32GB). As for what’s on the connectivity, the company says that it’ll come packing with 3G HSPA+ 21 Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/aGPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Coming with 10.4mm thick and weighs 167grams, this phone brings a 2000 mAh battery. It is also capable to Full HD 1080p video playback. The Xolo Play T1000 smartphone is now available online and in retail stores across India for priced at Rs. 15,999 (about $268) sans contract.
