Leica also introduced two special edition of compact digital camera, namely Leica D-Lux 4 Limited Editions, which is one for celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Peoples Republic of China (PRC) and one for the 10th Anniversary of Macau SAR.
The Leica D-Lux 4 Limited Editions for the 60th Anniversary of Peoples Republic of China (PRC) is equipped with Leica CD22 Flash, Leica D-Lux 4 Brown leather case, Leica handgrip, 24mm viewfinder and Artisan & Artist D-Lux 4 half case. It has red calligraphy (Long Live The People’s Republic of China) and Tiananmen Square pattern.
It is available only 500 sets with priced at HK$16800 (about US$2,161).
The Leica D-Lux 4 Limited Editions for the 10th Anniversary of Macau SAR is equipped Leica D-Lux 4 brown leather case and Macau Ruins of St. Paul engraved pattern.
It is available only 300 sets and the first 200 sets will be come with the 1999 Macau return Phoneix film camera. The 10th Anniversary of Macau SAR Leica D-Lux 4 Limited Editions is available in Macau.
