The famous photography equipment manufacture, Leica has recently unveiled its latest compact camera, called the Leica X Vario. This camera is previously known as the Leica Mini M. Coming with retro-styled typical Leica cameras, it construct an aluminum and magnesium body that enclosure with soft leather trim. Moreover, that makes feels comfortably solid in your hand.
Leica X Vario compact digital camera boasts a 16.5-megapixel APS-C CMOS image sensor along with Vario-Elmar 18-46mm f/3.5-6.4 ASPH lens (equivalent with 28-70mm in 35mm format).
It delivers the unique combination of a high performance autofocus zoom lens and large sensor. New Leica X Vario camera features sensitivity range of ISO 100 – 12,500, up to 5fps continous shooting, and video recording at Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels @ 30p. Meanwhile, the X Vario become the first compact digital camera to brings both an APS-C format, CMOS sensor and zoom.
For flexible shooting experience, Leica X Vario provides P/A/S/M exposure modes. It is equipped with a 3-inch LCD display, SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, and HDMI output.
