Lenovo Ideapad S12, new and first netbook with Ion NVIDIA chipset
There are no netbooks which are really competitive in graphical issues, given that its graphics processor is usually the same in all, Lenovo Ideapad S12 that is a relief for those who seek the benefits of a netbook but want something more in terms of graphics.
The new Lenovo Ideapad S12 is the first netbook with Ion NVIDIA graphics technology, which we saw in the Acer Aspire Revo nettop.
With a display of 12.1 inches and a resolution of 1280 x 600 pixels, it is capable of playing 1080p video playback without problems (thanks to Ion), 1GB RAM, 160GB to 320GB hard drive and a surprisingly “normal” 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU.
The good news is includes a QWERTY keyboard and full-size, nothing cuts that make you write with your fingers close together. As for connections, including Bluetoot 2.0, WiFi, 3 USB ports and ExpressCard card slot. It has VGA/HDMI video output for monitors, you know it’s good for a home theater with 1080p video.
Lenovo Ideapad S12 netbook is $449, making it a serious rival netbooks for all of 10 inches. With a larger screen, Ion, HDMI, etc. And it will arrive in June.
