Lenovo Japan has announced the release its new consumer notebook PC, called Lenovo IdeaPad Y560. This notebook has brings rich multimedia capabilities including Dolby Home Theater and OneKey Theater mode. It is improvement version of Lenovo IdeaPad Y550.

The high-end Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 “0646JAJ” is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 4GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive, Intel HM55 Express chipset, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 GPU. It has a 15.6-inch glossy wide LCD display with resolution of 1366×768 pixel and Blu-ray/DVD combo drive. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) and expected price of 169,800 yen.

Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 “0646J2J” has similar specifications but packs a 2.26GHz Intel Core i5-430M and expected price of 139,800 yen.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 notebook is equipped with three USB 2.0 port, USB 2.0/eSATA combo ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, ExpressCard/34 slot, HDMI output, D-Sub, a card reader (SD/Memory Stick/xD-Picture Card), and 1.3MP camera.

Battery of Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 is enabling up to 2.45 hours (model 0646JAJ) and up to 4.2 hours (model 0646J2J). Size of Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 is 385x255x20~33mm and weighs about 2.7kg. The IdeaPad Y560 will be available in Japan on April 24th, 2010.
