Lenovo prepares 10-inch IdeaPad and ThinkPad tablets
President and chief operating officer (COO) of Lenovo, Rory Read has shared his company’s plans to conquer the tablet market.
According to interview, Lenovo will be launch the IdeaPad K1 in the near future (probably July 2011) on worldwide market. The upcoming Lenovo IdeaPad K1 tablet will brings a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 resolution, a Tegra 2 SoC, two cameras (5MP and 2MP), 1GB of LPDDR2 memory, 16GB/32GB flash storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, HDMI output, two 0.5W speakers, and runs Android 3.0 OS.
For August 2011, Lenovo will have a ThinkPad-branded tablet. This Lenovo ThinkPad tablet will bring specs similar to IdeaPad K1 but focus on business users.
Both Lenovo upcoming tablets could be priced from $450 to $900.
