Lenovo has today announced the powerful Intel-powered laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad W520. It is designed for desktop workstation replacement and offers a higher level of productivity for mobile business professionals.

Lenovo ThinkPad W520 is powered by an Intel Core i5/i7 processor (up to the 2.5GHz Core i7-2920XM Extreme Edition quad-core), up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 500GB HDD or up to 160GB SSD.

Newly Lenovo ThinkPad W520 laptop is sports a 15.6-inch HD display, a 2GB nVidia Quadro 1000M or a 2GB Quadro 2000M graphics, DVD writer, webcam, Wi-Fi a/g/n, card reader and two USB 3.0 ports. It is option for WiMAX, EVDO or HSPA, as well as RAID 0 or 1 configuration.

It has weighs 2.7 kg and a 9-cell battery that enabling up to 10.7 hours of run time. Lenovo ThinkPad W520 will be available on March 29th, 2011 and start price of $1,530.
