Lenovo has officially introduced its first Chromebook, the Lenovo ThinkPad X131e. Targeted for education institutions and student, this rugged laptop has stronger corners and a rubber bumper around the top cover, which is protect the laptop in the case of an accidental drop in a classroom or other business environment. Design of the ThinkPad X131e is remaining to Lenovo’s earlier ultraportable ThinkPad laptops that Windows-based OS. 
As Chromebook, the Lenovo ThinkPad X131e runs Chrome OS and paired with an 11.6-inch anti-glare display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Inside, the Lenovo ThinkPad X131e notebook brings 4GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
There is Wi-Fi, a webcam, two USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 ports. Moreover, the Lenovo’s first Chromebook provides D-Sub and HDMI output. Weighing 1.78kg, the ThinkPad X131e Chromebook has thickness of 32.2mm and a 6-cell battery that enabling up to 6.5 hours of use.
Schools or education organizations will able to purchase the Lenovo ThinkPad X131e Chromebook starting February 26 and asking price of $429.
