Lenovo ThinkPad X201 Notebook, now available
Lenovo has already launched their ultraportable notebook, known as Lenovo ThinkPad X201.
This notebook is based on the 2010 Intel Core i5/i7 processors but lack built-in optical drive. It is unlike the Lenovo ThinkPad X201s which is brings low-voltage CPUs.
Lenovo ThinkPad X201 is boasts a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7-620M, 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-540M or 2.40GHz Intel Core i5-520M processor, Intel HD integrated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and up to 500GB HDD or up to 128GB SSD.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X201 notebook has features a 12.1-inch LED backlight display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels and anti-glare coating, TrackPoint pointing device, a full-size spill-resistant keyboard, and a trackpad with multi-touch support.
It is equipped with 802.11n Wi-Fi, VGA output, a 2.0 megapixel web camera, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB ports, and an ExpressCard slot.
Its options are WiMAX and 3G connectivity with GPS. Lenovo ThinkPad X201 is offers 4-cell, 6-cell, and 9-cell battery, which are provides up to 3.4 hours, 6.7 hours, and 11.3 hours of use, respectively. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional OS. The Lenovo ThinkPad X201 notebook can be purchased for start price of $1,099.
