Lenovo ThinkVision Series, eco-friendliness LCDs
Lenovo introduced new energy-efficient LCD monitors in its ThinkVision series. The new models are named ThinkVision L1711p, L1951p Wide, L2250p Wide, L2251p Wide and L2251x Wide. They are consuming 50% less power than their predecessors. It is no accident they all meet the TCO and EPEAT Gold standards. In addition, the Lenovo ThinkVision L2251x Wide Monitor is especially stands out as being friendly to the environment because of its enclosure of 65% consists of plastic, recycling, and the power source is only 21 watts.
All new Lenovo ThinkVision monitors have resolution 1680×1050 pixels and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and the response time of 5ms. Most of them are equipped with analog ports. Lenovo L2251x Wide and L2251p Wide models have DisplayPort interfaces. In addition, the Lenovo ThinkVision L2251x Wide is the top model in the new series, it has a built-in webcam.
The first to arrive on the market are Lenovo ThinkVision L1951p Wide, L2250p Wide and L2251p Wide Monitors. Their shipping will start on October 23, but they will cost $240, $250 and $260 respectively. Lenovo ThinkVision L1711p is debuts November 6 at $230, and Lenovo ThinkVision L2251x Wide monitor will be available closer to the end of November and will cost $300.
