Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro with 70-inch beam projector gets official, improved features

Lenovo has just announced a new hybrid tablet ahead of IFA 2015, dubbed the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro. It is not just Android tablet because the device is built-in 70-inch projector. That’s not enough, the Yoga Tab 3 Pro tablet is also providing four front-facing JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound technology.

Well, new Tab 3 Pro is top-of-the-line model from Lenovo’s Yoga line of Android tablets. But it isn’t the first tablet bundled with a projector from Lenovo. Most fairly unusual feature is a better optimized projector placement, which located on 180-degree rotatable edge. That’s different from the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. Giving presentation and home theatre experience, its projector is able to beam life-sized images up to 70-inches onto a wall or ceiling. Company says the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro with built-in 70-inch beam projector offers significantly brighter and cinematic compared with the predecessor Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.



Users will also found some attractive applications on the tablet since it’s pre-loaded with a Netflix app (personalized recommendations and content). Its Dolby Digital Plus feature is allowing Netflix streams for HD content.

Moving on hardware specs, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro tablet packs a 10.1-inch display with a pixel density of 299ppi, Quad-HD (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution and Smart Display technology. Pumping life of device comes from an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor (2M Cache, quad-core up to 2.24) and a massive 10200mAh battery. It’s got 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage but you can expand it via microSD card that supports up to 128GB card. Besides integrates pico projector, the tablet brings 13MP Autofocus camera on the back, and 5MP fixed-focus selfie camera.

Let’s speaking about pricing, the projector-enabled Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro tablet will cost 349 Euros (Wi-Fi-only model) and 599 Euros (LTE variant). Company plans to sell the tablet starting from November through Lenovo’s retail partners.
