LG Chocolate Touch from Verizon Wireless hits USA

November 6th, 2009 | Filed under Mobile Phones 0 Comments

Along with HTC Droid Eris, Verizon Wireless American mobile operator introduced another mobile phone, LG Chocolate Touch.

The LG Chocolate Touch has nothing to do with “chocolate” for the European market, a new LG BL40 Chocolate model. LG Chocolate Touch has in common only the name. But LG Chocolate Touch is very similar to the model LG SB210, presented recently in South Korea. Rather, we are dealing with two versions of the same device for different markets.

LG Chocolate Touch is equipped with a 3-inch touchscreen TFT display with a resolution of 240×400 pixels (WQVGA), 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS receiver, 1GB of internal memory, a slot for microSD, accelerometer, FM tuner, and 3.5-mm audio connector.

The LG Chocolate Touch is supports networks CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Rev. 0. The cost of new LG Chocolate Touch is $79.99 (naturally, with a new two-year customer agreement on a Nationwide Calling Plan and after a $50 mail-in rebate).
