LG Chromebase is a new all-in-one PC from LG Electronics to run Google’s Chrome OS. The machine has just officially introduced by Korean company and plans to be launched during CES 2014 in January next year. Company says the Chromebase (model number 22CV241) comes with the unique and highly efficient OS that delivers a fast, simple, secure and affordable computing experience for every users. It is also ideal for use in home, hotels, schools, call centers, and other business settings.
The LG Chromebase AIO desktop PC has 21.5-inch 178-degree wide viewing angles IPS display with a resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 1.3MP 720 HD webcam for video conference. There are also a microphone for easy video calling, and built-in two 5W speakers.
Coming with iMac-styled exterior, this desktop brings an Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB iSSD. In terms of hardware connectivity, the LG Chromebase all-in-one desktop PC has HDMI input, Ethernet LAN, three USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 ports. This space-saving computer will come with keyboard, mouse, and cable organizer.
Pricing and exactly availability on market are still unknown at moment. It’s hopefully revealed at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show.
