A pair of new colors has added into the LG G2 smartphone. The Korean company, LG has officially announced the gold and red limited edition of its flagship smartphone in Taiwan. Asking about pricing, both new models are exactly same as the existing colors, which is 14,900 TWD (about $496) for 16GB unit and 16,900 TWD (around $562) for 32GB model. The red and gold becomes the third and fourth colors for LG G2 after black and white.
Reportedly, the LG G2 Red / Gold Limited Edition is introduced to celebrate the Chinese New Year holiday aka the Lunar New Year holiday season. Most difference from the standard model is the back panel, which has a textured back cover. That’s also excellent resistance to fingerprints but easier to maintain a grip.
The new colors of G2 smartphone are also arriving in Singapore and priced at $898 SGD that’s about $701 US at today’s exchange rate. It will go out starting January 18th through three local operators — Starhub, SingTel and M1. At this moment, there is no word to arrive in the US.
