LG at CommunicAsia 2009 introduced a new GW550 smartphone. It is a stylish thin candybar with the integrated Full QWERTY keyboard, the appearance of a device like Nokia E71. LG GW550 is running the Windows Mobile Standard OS.
The device supports the mobile communications (Quad-band), GSM and UMTS/HSDPA (7.2 Mbps)/HSUPA (2 Mbps). LG GW550 is equipped with a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of QVGA, it is responsible for photographing 3 MP camera, a videophone with a front VGA camera. There is also a battery capacity of 1300 mAh. The size of the device is 116.3×61.5×12 mm. At the moment this is all that is known about the new LG smartphone.
Information on when and venue will be release by LG has not yet been provided. The expected value of LG GW550 also is not known.
