LG has launched its mobile phone in Italy, the LG GW620 but as LG LinkMe. Previously, it was available in UK market as LG InTouch Max. It is running on Android 1.5 and upgradeable to Android 1.6 OS. The LG GW620 or LG LinkMe phone has features a 3-inch HVGA resistive touchscreen display, a sliding full 5-row QWERTY keyboard
LG LinkMe (LG GW620) comes with full HTML browser, A-GPS, WiFi, HSDPA up to 7.2Mbps, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 5MP camera with flash and autofocus. It is provides LinkBook feature that easily access to Android Market and popular social networking sites including Twitter, Facebook, etc. It is equipped with a MicroSD memory card slot (up to 32GB) and bundled with a 1GB memory card.
The LG GW620 / LG LinkMephone is a LG’s first Android Smartphone. It is available in Black and Blue color. LG LinkMe comes in Italy with priced at €299 (around $405).
