LG Electronics has just official announced its slider style tablet, the LG H160. Like other tablet manufacturers, the company is decided bring the upcoming Windows 8 operating system into the H160.
Based on Intel Clover Trail platform, this tablet boasts a 1.8GHz Atom Z2760 dual-core processor paired with 11.6-inch touchscreen LG-made IPS panel, resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
Most interestingly, LG H160 is made in slider form factor, which despite the built-in keyboard. It has auto-slide button and claimed up to 178 degrees of crisp visibility.
Other feature on LG H160 slider tablet is HDMI and USB ports, Wi-Fi, and a MicroSD card slot. Sadly, amount of memory and onboard storage is not specified.
Weighing 1.05kg and 15.9 mm thickness, price of the hybrid laptop/tablet device is still unknown yet.
