LG Electronics has announced new touchscreen phone in Italy, called LG Surf 4GB, which was formerly known as LG Cookie Music KM570. Most likely, the phone will appear later in other countries.
LG Surf 4GB phone is made in monoblock form factor. It is equipped with 3-inch resistive touch screen TFT display with a resolution of 240×400 pixels (WQVGA), 5-megapixel autofocus camera with video recording, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD/microSDHC card slot (up to 32GB). It also has Dolby Mobile technology for improving the quality sound.
LG Surf 4GB supported the work in quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 3.6 Gbps. This phone will be sale in Italy begin in late April 2010. LG Surf 4GB will be available in four colors (silver, ash black, prism violet, and blue) for priced at €199.
Note that LG Surf 4GB is an improved version of the LG Clubby KM555E, which is equipped with only 40MB of memory and a 3.2MP camera.
