LG Electronics is going prepare to introduced its latest Windows tablets on CES 2014 in January, the LG Tab Book2. The device is basically update version of last year’s Tab Book device, that’s also getting lighter and thinner. Reportedly, the new gadget will be landed in two models – LG Tab Book 2 11T740 and LG Tab Book 2 11T540. Both Windows tablets come with 11.6 inches touchscreen display and a slide-out keyboard that always attached. The latter is able to slide out by the tap of a button. According to press release, the tablets are suitable for both on-the-go entertainment and work.
Company plans to brings Windows 8 software as operating system for their next-generation LG Windows tablets. The first model, new LG Tab Book 2 (model number 11T740) will boast an Intel Core i5 Haswell processor and a Full HD IPS display with 400 nit brightness. This tablet will packed by 16.7mm thick and weighs 1.05kg. It will become the high-end model of LG Tab Book2 tablet.
Another version is the LG Tab Book 2 (model number 11T540), which will have thickness of 13.7mm and its weighs 952 grams. There is no word on exactly kind of its processor or specification but it could be lower specs than the LG 11T740. As comparison, the earlier version measures 19.4mm thick and weighs 1.23kg. Hopefully, we should find out more about the LG Tab Book 2 Windows tablet at CES this month.
