FCC (US Federal Communications Commission) has recently welcomed the LG‘s upcoming netbook, known as LG X140. This netbook is based on Intel Pine Trail platform.
LG X140 netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 or a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor, 1GB/2GB of RAM, and a 160GB/320 GB of hard drive.
The LG X140 netbook has feature a 10.1-inch HD display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels, a 1.3-megapixel web camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Bluetooth. Optionally, it is a 3G mobile module and an 8-cell battery (instead of the standard 6-cell battery).
LG X140 is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter Edition. There is no word on release date or pricing.
